I am very excited to say that the Zarxio worked and I was able to have treatment today. It was fabulous news when I saw the bloodwork this morning!
I’m actually even a little surprised at how well it worked…I’m going to be quite interested to see how the numbers go now over the next few weeks. I’m going to have to make my data plot this weekend. The Zarxio pushed my neutrophils even higher than they were before I started chemo. (By about 30%…) This is all very interesting and I am going to have to ask more questions to understand it more. It’s kind of crazy it was an increase of about 8 times in just over 24 hours from the injection.
Treatment was good today – now just to wait through the weekend for the crummy bit -but we can do this!
Thank you to all of you for your support and help, we are so grateful to all of you for everything you do for us! We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
The now “standard” note at the end of posts for website navigation help:
Thank you for taking time to keep up with us and see how we’re doing as well as all the help! Because, I think like me, much of the world does nearly everything on their phones…I’m adding this note to the end of posts to make website navigation easier if you are on a phone. If you’d like to read other journal entries, please click here (oldest post is at the bottom of the page). There’s also a “hamburger” menu in the top right of the webpage that can help you navigate between the journal, ways to help page, stay in touch, and welcome pages. Please know that reading this page and thinking of us is help! Thank you for your support in all forms!
Great news!!!
Take it slow!!!
Get lots of rest!!
