Just a quick note, thank you all for the bone marrow pep talks, prayers, and healing thoughts – they worked!
I got 3 rounds of Zarxio last week instead of just one and I am thrilled to say that my numbers are in treatment range for tomorrow so I will be able to get treatment. WOOHOOO!
I will admit, I didn’t feel great Friday and Saturday – I think it was my neutrophils going pretty much to the floor as the nurse on Friday asked me if I felt like I had the flu, which I did, I just hadn’t correlated it…she said that’s often what the neutropenia feels like. The good news is that it really only lasted the 2 days and I felt much better on Sunday and pretty normal on Monday. That meant that at least some of the weekend got to be reserved for fun!
I did enjoy the rest this weekend. We stayed home and Mike did some work in the garage and we started a new puzzle. I also started a new embroidery project which was nice and I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes.
Not much else to report, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Thank you all for all you are doing to support us, we are so incredibly grateful!
The now “standard” note at the end of posts for website navigation help:
Thank you for taking time to keep up with us and see how we’re doing as well as all the help! Because, I think like me, much of the world does nearly everything on their phones…I’m adding this note to the end of posts to make website navigation easier if you are on a phone. If you’d like to read other journal entries, please click here (oldest post is at the bottom of the page). There’s also a “hamburger” menu in the top right of the webpage that can help you navigate between the journal, ways to help page, stay in touch, and welcome pages. Please know that reading this page and thinking of us is help! Thank you for your support in all forms! If you have any issues, please email [email protected].
